I've seen FLCL twice now and still don't understand that whole thing if someone would be UBER kind and explain the plot to me I would forever be in your debt.

yeah its a very confussing anime, i had to see it twice to understand it, and i still dont get the whole thing :/

lets see, it was a long time ago that i saw it so i dont really remember much....well they guy had to fight stuff....with a bat......and there was a robot.......things comming out of his head? @___@

I'll type up what I remember.

Spoilers:

Haru Hara Haruko (guitar girl), came to Earth in search of the space pirate king Atomisk (or however his name is spelt), who has enough M.O. (it's like a pocket dimension or portal to transport things through or keep them in) to apparently steal entire galaxies or something like that, it's been a while. Because she wants his power and also loves him because of this power (and also, girls apparently don't have M.O., so if you think about it Gainax is full of perverts considering the way girls in Furi Kuri react to guys with a lot of it). Atomisk hid himself in Naota's body, which is why Naota was able to pull so many things out of his head as far as I know.

That's a rough summary of what was actually going on.

Moral of the story: Don't try to grow up too soon. Stay a kid as long as possible.

So it's just like a growing up story.

I could find more detailed information about the series and whom did what for what reason, but that would require....effort!
